We are thrilled to announce that our team has grown!
Menne Scherpenzeel is our newest JLA Adviser. He is based in the Netherlands, and as we are receiving an increasing number of enquiries from across the world, we are delighted to have another Adviser located outside of the UK. We’re sure that Menne’s extensive experience in the Netherlands will be of great benefit to people who would like to conduct and contribute to PSPs.

Here are Menne’s thoughts on becoming a JLA Adviser:
Actually, I was immediately excited about JLA during our own search for a methodology to create a research agenda for a project with gastroenterologist-pediatricians.
I firmly believe that a research agenda only makes sense if the people involved actually have a voice and not just professionals. And that all parties have an equal input and voice. I wanted to make that methodology more accessible in the Netherlands, and for that reason I’m delighted to be able to be a JLA Adviser here in collaboration with INVOLV, a Dutch organization that promotes participation in healthcare, welfare and research. In the next two years we want to realize a number of JLA Top 10s. In my role as JLA Adviser, working with the JLA Coordinating Team in Southampton in the UK, the other JLA Advisers, and with my colleagues at INVOLV, I am really looking forward to putting JLA even better on the map in the Netherlands.
You can read more about Menne and the other JLA Advisers on our JLA Adviser page. Menne has already started getting involved in PSP activity, and is looking forward to meeting the patients, carers and clinicians who are so essential to the work of PSPs.
