Original uncertainty examples | We had no follow up appointment and the attitude from the Consultant was uncaring and callous ~ Why are follow up appointents after 2nd line chemo not realistic? Why do consultants suddenly give 3 month appointments, this is distressing for widows to cancel. Why can't they be honest? ~ we can't think beyond the date of the next assessment and the news it might bring. And the "scanxiety" in the run up to each assessment is vert stressful ~ It would be helpful if X rays and scans were done more regularly so as to see what progress has taken place and what treatment would be required. |
