Explanatory note | Single room isolation is one of the methods used to decrease the spread of the harmful antibiotic resistant bacteria in the hospital. However, this may cause infrequent monitoring of patients and can have an psychological effect on patients who are isolated. Therefore, it is necessary to know if single room isolation is effective in decreasing transmission of infections. |
