What proportion of people with bipolar disorder recovery functionally and what helps them? ~ Why do some people seem to recover from episodes of mania and depression and lead fairly productive lives and others do not fair so well. ~ I would like to know of more successful people with bipolar disorder both as an inspiration and also to learn how they manage their condition ~ I would like to see more research done investigating the life-course of individuals with bipolar, distinguishing those who lived long and healthy lives and identifying what possible factors allowed them to live healthy lives. ~ What are the common coping mechanisms which people use that successfully manage their bipolar illness? Could this help people learn to cope with the illness that have just been diagnosed? |
