We do not know the best way to manage future flares of Lichen Sclerosus. Some people think that using steroid cream inbetween flares, even when there are no symptoms, may reduce symptoms overall. This team is studying whether using a steroid treatment regularly (e.g. twice a week), even when symptoms are controlled, is better than using steroid cream only during a flare.
